Title:  HR Coordinator

Provide administrative and employee relations support to Human Resources in Hong Kong.  Work is performed under the immediate direction of the Human Resources Manager for SEA and HongKong.  Responsible for employment support, maintenance of personnel files, processing employee changes through the HR Shared Service Center, assisting employees with HR and benefits changes, producing reports and performing analysis, and various administrative functions, special projects by HR manager to ensure proper communication to employees. 


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Support recruiting and employment of positions in HongKong by initiating and entering employment requisitions and providing administrative support for the employment process;
  • Conduct new employee orientation and on-boarding processes as required;
  • Initiate and process personnel change forms (PAFs and PACs) and liaising with HR Shared Services Team;
  • Maintain employee personnel files for HongKong;
  • Assist employees with record changes and company policies by accessing policy information when requested to keep employees accurately informed;
  • Administer group life insurance, health and accident insurance, savings and retirement plans, and establishes and maintains working relationships with company staff and benefit providers;
  • Maintain benefit records by developing and maintaining record keeping systems, processing documents, and preparing various benefit reports;
  • Promote effective utilization of company benefits by interpreting benefit policies and procedures, investigating benefit payment discrepancies, and reconciling carrier reports;
  • Insure effective communication of company benefit plans through distribution of benefit booklets, employee benefit statements, and the use of other company communication media;
  • Liaise with leadership team in HongKong and involve employees in developing employee wellness program in order to maintain high moral levels;
  • Any other duties as required from time to time.




  • Must be able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience handling such information is required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in effectively dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and balance job requirements from multiple managers.
  • Must have a high level of initiative and be able to work effectively without constant, direct supervision.
  • Good to have knowledge on local labour law and regulations.
  • Previous experience with SAP is highly preferred. Must have strong computer skills including the ability to word process using Word and create spreadsheets using Excel.
